  Join Us for a Volunteer Workday

Preserve Moment

Give nature a helping hand by signing up for 2017 volunteer workdays hosted by the Forest Preserve District of Will County.

Workdays are scheduled for 8 a.m.-noon on:
Saturday, April 15: Isle a la Cache, Romeoville.
Saturday, April 29: Whalon Lake, Naperville/Bolingbrook.
Sunday, April 30: Messenger Woods Nature Preserve, Homer Glen.
Sunday, May 7: Theodore Marsh, Crest Hill.
Saturday, May 13: Hickory Creek Preserve Hickory Creek Junction, New Lenox.
Saturday, May 20: Romeoville Prairie Nature Preserve, Romeoville. Meet at Isle a la Cache Museum.
Sunday, May 21: Lockport Prairie Nature Preserve, Lockport.
Saturday, June 10: Sugar Creek Preserve, Joliet.
Sunday, June 11: Hickory Creek Barrens Nature Preserve Brightway Lane, New Lenox.

An RSVP is required for all individuals and groups participating in the workdays. Call Renee Gauchat at 815.722.7364 or e-mail rgauchat@fpdwc.org.

Dress for outdoor work (long pants, closed-toe shoes and work gloves) and for the weather. Work will take place on uneven terrain that is primarily natural surface.
