Summer is a great time to discover the natural wonders that surround Plum Creek Nature Center. Get to know the woods, fields and waterways of Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve by hiking a different trail each time you visit Thursday, June 1-Tuesday, August 1.

Pick up your trail challenge sheet at the nature center and hike the preserve.

There are eight hikes to be completed in eight weeks! Complete as many trails as you can and keep the memories on your trail challenge sheet to journal your hike. Finish six trails and be included on our Nature Center Trail Wall of Fame. Finish all of the trails and enter to win a prize!

Hours for the program vary:
Tuesday-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sunday, Noon-4 p.m.; Monday, Closed
Event Requirements:
No registration is required for this program.

Trails are natural uneven surfaces and range from .25 miles to 4 miles in length. Outdoor settings will take place on natural, uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
