Trail Location and Access
The DuPage River Trail is a work in progress through a partnership between the Forest Preserve District and 12 other agencies. The trail is planned to travel 34 miles from Channahon north to DuPage County.
The Forest Preserve District has developed three segments of the trail, totaling 6.81 miles in Will County.
The southern segment may be accessed from the following locations:
DuPage River Trail: Trail connections in Naperville connect the segment of the DuPage River Trail at Whalon Lake to segments of the trail owned by the City of Naperville and the Naperville Park District.
The DuPage River Trail consists of three segments totaling 6.81 miles. Access points are located at Hammel Woods in Shorewood, Whalon Lake in Naperville, and Riverview Farmstead Preserve in Naperville.
