Hop, fly, crawl, click, chirp, buzz; bugs are all around us. Join a naturalist on an adventure to explore the incredible world of insects up close and personal. What makes an insect an insect? Learn about their special adaptations and life cycles and explore their habitats. Get ready for a hands-on experience using nets, rolling logs and digging in the leaves to catch, observe and release the insects at McKinley Woods.

Please wear comfortable hiking shoes.
Our adventure will be up to 1 mile long and may include steep hills on natural surface trails over uneven terrain with potential off-trail experiences. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
