Event details

This ongoing event will be held from Saturday, May 3, to Sunday, June 29. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays to Sundays.

Meet the Becorns and experience the world through their tiny but mighty eyes. Hidden Oaks is hosting David M. Bird’s Becorn photography, which will have you experiencing our natural world in a new, whimsical way. Bird, a former Lego designer, creates Becorns out of materials he finds in nature, and he photographs them outside with wildlife.

Each Becorn involves an acorn head and stick body, and they have big personalities that are all uniquely different. Trust us, they are pretty darn cute. Bird tells beautiful stories about their adventures among the flowers, birds and even hungry chipmunks! Photographs, behind-the-scenes videos and one lucky Becorn will be on display. Hidden Oaks Nature Center is an accessible facility.
