Clean out the garage and make a difference by recycling your bicycle! The Forest Preserve District is collecting for Working Bikes, an organization that refurbishes and distributes bikes locally and globally as tools of empowerment. No bike is too old or rusty! Other drop off locations include Hidden Oaks Nature Center in Bolingbrook and Monee Reservoir in Monee.

The bike drop is located in the Kerry Sheridan Grove parking lot. Sidewalks in the parking lot are accessible. The parking lot area is paved and accessible. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
