This ongoing program runs from Friday, Jan. 17, to Sunday, March 2. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays to Sundays.
Visit the “Smokey Bear: The Rudy Wendelin Collection” on display in the nature center for inspiration then visit our Self-Expression Studio to select a Smokey line drawing to create your own masterpiece. Complete your piece using the materials available in the nature center or take a sheet home to transform and return. Each completed masterpiece will be added to our community showcase, and each artist will receive a small prize. Winners will be chosen for larger, Smokey Bear-themed prizes in three categories: ages 1 to 5, 6 to 12 and 13 to 18. Winners will be selected and notified by Thursday, March 6.

Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
