Visitor centers to close for Easter weekend

Forest Preserve visitor centers will be closed on Friday, April 18, and Easter Sunday, April 20.
Preserves, trails and dog parks will remain open.
Here is the schedule:
- Closed both Friday and Sunday: Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon, Isle a la Cache Museum in Romeoville Monee Reservoir Visitor Center (including the concessions/bait sales area) and Plum Creek Nature Center in Crete Township.
- Open Friday, closed Sunday: The Tackle Box bait shop at Hidden Oaks Preserve.
The four visitor centers will be open normal hours on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Tackle Box will be open weekend hours on both Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hidden Oaks Nature Center in Bolingbrook has been closed for renovations and will reopen on May 3.
The Sugar Creek Administration Center in Joliet, which is normally closed on weekends and open on weekdays, will be closed on Friday and reopen for business on Monday, April 21. Normal Monday through Friday hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
