Go a little nutty and learn all about our favorite furry backyard buddy, the squirrel! As we hike through Hammel Woods, you’ll learn all about these fluffy-tailed friends and the role they play in nature and the environment. We’ll search for them in the forest and try our hand at some tricky squirrel nest construction. You wal-nut believe how hard it is!

Please meet at Hidden Shelter. Be sure to dress for the weather as the entire program is outdoors.
The hike will be less than 1 mile alternating between paved and natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
