Want a little nature in your winter? Looking to explore the preserves? Get outside, trek the trails and enjoy the magic of the season! Join a naturalist at different forest preserves in Will County throughout January and February. This week, walk through the trees of Messenger Woods and learn about the abundant wildlife in this old-growth forest.

Please dress for the weather and use caution while hiking given the possible wintery conditions.
The hike will be 1 mile to 2 miles over uneven, natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
