Have you always wanted to go backpacking but were intimidated by the process? Join a naturalist in this three-part series to learn the basics of backpacking. How to select a sleeping bag? What food to pack? How to choose a location? In this first of the series, participants will learn how to prepare and plan for a weekend backpacking trip. Check out some of the supplies you will need and may want to make your adventure a success!
Enjoy one, two or all three parts of the Backpacking 101 series. Other programs will be as follows:

Previous experience and equipment are not required for this program but may be necessary for the upcoming programs in the series.
