Enjoy an evening at Hammel Woods exploring the habitat of our local bat species. Play bat-themed games and discover fascinating facts about these flying mammals. Watch the bats emerge from their sleeping quarters to go out on their nightly hunt and enjoy a short night hike.

Registration required by Friday, Aug. 9: 815-722-9470.
Please dress for the weather. This family-friendly hike will be approximately 1.5 miles on both paved and uneven natural trails. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
