Take your birding to the next level and view them from the water! From a safe distance, explore birds in places that can only be seen by boat.

Registration required by Thursday, Aug. 15: 815-722-9470.
Previous kayaking experience is required, as this is a recreational program and not an instructional paddling program. Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. All equipment is provided, including life jackets.
The natural surface launch area is accessible by a paved trail from the parking lot. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
