Event details
Enjoy birding on the fly as you bike the Wauponsee Glacial Trail with a naturalist. Learn quick tips and tricks for identifying birds while you’re on the move. Then head out on the trail to put your new skills to the test. Bikers can expect to see larger birds soaring in the skies above and tiny birds singing in the prairie.

Registration required by Thursday, Sept. 5: 815-722-9470.
Be sure to bring your bike and water. Helmets are required for all riders. Meet at Wauponsee Glacial Trail — Midewin-Wauponsee Access.
The ride will cover up to 11 miles and take place entirely on a crushed limestone trail. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
