Event details

Grab your favorite mug and four-legged friend for a cozy winter event for our dog park users. Join us at the Forked Creek dog park for an afternoon socializing while keeping warm with cocoa and coffee provided by staff. Treats and activities will also be provided for the dogs! The Will County Emergency Management Agency will be on site with its AKC Pet Disaster Relief trailer and materials to help educate you on emergency preparedness for your pets.

Event requirements

No registration required.

A 2025 Forest Preserve District of Will County dog park permit is required for all dogs attending the event. Permits can be purchased online beforehand, or permits will also be available on site ahead of the event, along with one-day passes for $5.

You must have a current rabies tag and tag number to purchase a permit. The dog park is a short walk from the parking lot on paved surfaces. The dog park enclosures consist of uneven, natural surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or    submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
