Event details

Come learn about the winter survival tactics of the mammals, reptiles and amphibians that call Thorn Creek home. We will explore different types of hibernation. After the hike, participants will create a pinecone creature to take home. This program is sponsored by the Thorn Creek Audubon Society.

Event requirements

Registration required by Dec. 9: 708-747-6320.

Participants should be prepared to walk more than 1 mile outdoors on natural surface trails across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 708-747-6320.
