McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove, Four Rivers scheduled to be closed Aug. 5-6 for sealcoating

An asphalt path has black sealcoating spread on it.
The Forest Preserve District's annual trail and parking lot sealcoating, crack sealing and pavement striping work is underway.
Various sites around the District will close for a day or two as work takes place.
This site is scheduled to be closed Monday, Aug. 5, and Tuesday, Aug. 6:
- McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove, including Four Rivers Environmental Education Center.
As a result of the pavement work, the Summer Finale at Four Rivers program has been canceled for Tuesday, Aug. 6. Other sessions of the program are scheduled for Aug. 7-9.
The sealcoating schedule could change due to weather or other factors. Updates will be posted here as necessary. Members of the public are urged to obey all closure signs.
